Warrington Wolves coach Tony Smith has admitted that he has "mixed emotions" following Friday's 17-17 draw at Wigan Warriors in Super League.

The Wolves looked to be on course for a narrow defeat at the DW Stadium before a late Lee Briers drop goal earned the visitors a point.

"I'm not going to go home and kick the dog," Smith told Sky Sports News.

"There are mixed emotions. We're not punching the air but it was pleasing that we found a way not to lose it once we went behind."

Warrington have moved up to second place in the table with the draw.
