Six players to leave Warrington Wolves

Veteran Australian prop Trent Waterhouse is among six players who will leave Warrington Wolves at the end of the season.

Warrington Wolves have confirmed that Trent Waterhouse is among six players who will leave the Super League club at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old Australian, who joined the Wolves three years ago, is expected to announce his retirement before the start of the next campaign.

Meanwhile, Chris Riley, Jordan Burke, Danny Bridge, James Saltonstall and Gavin Bennion are also departing the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

"We've all built up a great relationship and anybody who has been part of the Warrington family will always be welcomed back," head coach Tony Smith told the club's official website. "We wish them all well and look forward to our paths crossing in the future."

Warrington continue their Super League campaign on Thursday when they travel to Wigan Warriors.
