Warrington Wolves forward Garreth Carvell has been handed a two-match ban for kicking out in a tackle during his side's win over Widnes last week.
The incident happened in Thursday's 42-12 victory at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The 30-year-old has also been given a £300 fine by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee in Leeds.
Warrington are currently fifth in the Super League table.
