Eorl Crabtree pens new Huddersfield Giants contract

Huddersfield Giants prop Eorl Crabtree pens a new deal with the Super League club until 2017.

Huddersfield Giants prop Eorl Crabtree has signed a two-year contract extension with the club.

The 32-year-old, who has made nearly 400 appearances for the Giants since his debut 14 years ago, is now contracted at the John Smith's Stadium until 2017.

"As a child growing up it was always my dream to play for Huddersfield. Fifteen years in and almost 400 games later I'm excited to say that dream will be kept alive for a further two years," he told the club's official website.

"I still feel my job isn't done here yet. Who knows what the future holds, but for the next two years at least it is claret and gold."

Huddersfield return to Super League action on Thursday when they host leaders Leeds Rhinos.
