Huddersfield Giants ease past London Broncos

Huddersfield Giants clinch a comfortable 38-22 win over London Broncos in the Super League.

Huddersfield Giants have cruised to a 38-22 win over London Broncos in the Super League this afternoon.

The home side broke the deadlock just four minutes into the tie when Scott Grix found the try line for the first of four Huddersfield tries in the first half.

Broncos managed to get on the scoresheet just before the end of the opening 40 minutes as James Cunningham went over in the corner.

Joshua Drinkwater and Denny Solomona both scored in the space of three minutes in the second half to provide the visitors with some hope with just over 20 minutes left to play.

However, Joe Wardle added his second of the game just after an effort from Jodie Broughton to restore the Giants' comfortable lead and seal the win.

The result moves the Giants up to fifth in the Super League table, while London remain bottom.
