Huddersfield Giants forward Jason Chan is out for three months with a torn bicep.

Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson has announced that forward Jason Chan will be sidelined for three months due to a torn bicep.

The 29-year-old's injury woe comes after he suffered a knee problem that kept him out of action for a large part of the season.

"To now suffer a ruptured bicep that'll keep him out for three months is the cruellest of luck," Anderson told the Huddersfield Examiner.

The Papua New Guinea international suffered the injury during Huddersfield's 42-6 Super League Magic Weekend victory over Bradford Bulls.
