Ken Sio bags a hat-trick in Hull Kingston Rovers' 50-20 Super League thrashing of Catalans Dragons.

Ken Sio scored a hat-trick of tries as Hull Kingston Rovers' thrashed Catalans Dragons 50-20 in the Super League.

The Robins scored nine tries in the match, with the majority of them coming in the second half.

The visitors got off to a quick start, scoring the game's first try in just 80 seconds as Willie Tonga penetrated some soft defence on Hull's right edge.

Sio responded 10 minutes later with his first try as the home side punished Morgan Escare's mistake.

Three tries in eight first-half minutes put the Dragons in a commanding position and although Rovers got a try back on the stroke of half-time through Ben Cockayne, Catalan headed into half time with a decent lead.

Albert Kelly began Hull's comeback three minutes after the restart, with Sio getting his second shortly afterwards.

The Australian then completed his hat-trick as the visitors failed to handle a smart Kelly kick through.

Liam Salter and Shaun Lunt added their names to the scoresheet, while Cockayne grabbed his second try of the match minutes before the full-time whistle to cap off a fine comeback victory.
