Catalans Dragons edge past London Broncos

London Broncos remain without a win in the Super League this season following a narrow 24-22 defeat to Catalans Dragons.

Catalans Dragons have denied London Broncos their first win of the Super League season with a narrow 24-22 victory in the first match of the Magic Weekend at the Etihad Stadium.

After a quiet opening 20 minutes, Mason Caton-Brown opened the scoring with a try for the Broncos after a quick break from Joshua Drinkwater.

The French side ensured that they were leading at half time though, with tries from Vincent Duport and Elliott Whitehead just six minutes apart.

Jeff Lima extended Catalans's lead further after the break, but Caton-Brown added his second before James Greenwood found the corner to level the scores.

Both sides scored a further try in the final minutes of the match, but Drinkwater missed a conversion five minutes from full time to leave London two points short.
