Injured Catalans Dragons skipper Remi Casty to miss rest of season

Remi Casty will play no further part for Catalans Dragons this season after rupturing ligaments in his right knee against Huddersfield Giants last time out.

Catalans Dragons captain Remi Casty has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign due to injury.

The France international prop ruptured ligaments in his right knee during the Dragons' 14-12 defeat to Huddersfield Giants last weekend.

Casty will now undergo surgery in an attempt to rectify the issue, but he will play no further part for his side this term.

Catalans are also likely to be without second-row Elliott Whitehead for their final regular league fixture of the season on Sunday, when they take on leaders Leeds Rhinos at Headingley.
