ITV has denied reports that Chelsea captain John Terry has been approached about becoming a pundit for its World Cup coverage.
The former England international was tipped to take on the role in Brazil following Roy Keane's decision to pull out of the punditry team.
The former Manchester United captain has decided to focus on his coaching career, which caused Terry's odds on replacing Keane in Brazil to fall.
However, according to The Mirror, ITV have insisted that an approach to Terry has not been made.
The tournament will get underway on June 12.
