A number of West Ham United supporters are reportedly planning to wear masks of Carlos Tevez's face during next Tuesday's Capital One Cup tie against Sheffield United.
The Argentine, who now plays for Juventus, helped keep the Hammers in the top flight by scoring the winning goal against Manchester United on the final day of the 2006-07 season.
West Ham's survival resulted in the Blades getting relegated, but the club were forced to make payments to Sheffield after Tevez was deemed ineligible to play due to third-party ownership rules.
According to the Daily Mail, when the Hammers welcome the League One outfit to Upton Park next week, a number of fans will don Tevez masks in the crowd.
Tomorrow, Sam Allardyce's side will take on managerless Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the Premier League.
