Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson spotted in Sunderland crowd at Wembley

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson was spotted in the crowd at Wembley supporting his former club Sunderland during the Capital One Cup final on Sunday.

The 23-year-old left the Black Cats in 2011 for Merseyside, but it appears that his boyhood club is not far away from his mind after he was photographed among the fans in London.

Despite opening the scoring, Sunderland succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City, who claimed the first piece of silverware on offer this season.

Meanwhile, Henderson could help secure Champions League football for Liverpool this season as the Reds currently sit second in the Premier League table.
