Video: Sky Sports News left red-faced as prankster impersonates Shay Given

Sky Sports News gets duped live on air by a caller pretending to be Stoke City goalkeeper Shay Given.

Sky Sports News was duped on Sunday night when a presenter held a telephone interview with a person pretending to be Stoke City goalkeeper Shay Given.

The broadcaster believed that it had arranged to speak to the Republic of Ireland international regarding an injury blow suffered to his club teammate Jack Butland.

Stoke's number one keeper broke his ankle while representing England in Saturday's friendly against Germany, which has ended his Euro 2016 chances.

Yesterday, Sky Sports News attempted to get Given's reaction, but instead of getting the real man on the phone, they spoke to a high-pitched impersonator.

Once it became clear that the caller was a fake, they swiftly ended the interview.
