Daniele de Rossi's ex-wife Tamara Pisnoli 'arrested for alleged kidnapping'

The ex-wife of Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi has reportedly been arrested after allegedly being involved in a kidnapping scandal.

It has been claimed that Tamara Pisnoli, who was married to Rossi between 2006 and 2009, was one of eight people who kidnapped a businessman from Rome.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the man was held to ransom for €200,000 (£159,000) after being snatched from a bar and taken to a safe house, where he is believed to have been tortured.

Pisnoli, 31, has a daughter named Gaia with De Rossi, who has since remarried.
