Cristiano Ronaldo's smashed-up car for sale at £40,000

The car of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has been put up for sale for £40,000, despite being smashed.

The Portugal international owned the Ferrari 599 during his time at Manchester United until he crashed into a tunnel in the city in 2009.

Despite the vehicle being ruined, the car has been given a hefty price tag and no restorations are due to take place before the sale.

Ronaldo was unhurt in the incident three years ago.
