Real Madrid sell 345,000 James Rodriguez shirts in 48 hours

Real Madrid have sold over 300,000 James Rodriguez replica shirts since announcing that he has signed for the team.

The Spanish club confirmed the signing of the Colombia international from AS Monaco earlier this week.

According to Spanish newspaper Sport, fans of the La Liga club have been keen to get their hands on the new number 10 shirt, with 345,000 sold within 48 hours of the transfer being finalised.

The same report claims that a million Cristiano Roanldo shirts have been sold by the European champions since he joined them in 2009.
