Barcelona employee sacked after racist gesture

A ticket office employee at Barcelona's official museum has been sacked after she was caught making a racist gesture to Racing de Santander's Mamadou Kone on Sunday.

During yesterday's Segunda B clash between Santander and Llagostera, the supporter was seen to make the gesture towards the Ivory Coast forward from the stands.

According to Cadena SER, the individual in question has been sacked from her position at Barcelona and been handed a lifetime ban from Llagostera's home matches.

A number of alleged racist incidents have occurred in Spanish football this season.
