Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has reportedly been offered a role with BBC Radio 5 live for their World Cup coverage in Brazil this summer.

A number of media outlets have begun recruiting sporting figures for the global tournament, with Everton boss Roberto Martinez said to be a target for ITV.

According to the Daily Mail, Pardew has become the next manager to be poached, with the BBC offering him a punditry role on the radio.

Currently, Pardew's Newcastle team are ninth in the Premier League table.
