Newcastle United's players don various costumes for a fancy dress party following their historic win over Manchester United.

Newcastle United's players swapped their football kits for various costumes as they attended a fancy dress party on Sunday.

The team could afford to relax after securing a 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Saturday, ending their wait of more than four decades to grab a win at Old Trafford.

Goalkeeper Tim Krul dressed up as a gangster, while Sammy Ameobi donned a ninja turtle costume and Steven Taylor transformed into the joker.

Davide Santon became Mickey Mouse for the party, while Vurnon Anita dressed up as Superman and Mathieu Debuchy arrived as a pirate.
