Newcastle United winger Jonas Gutierrez took part in the Buenos Aires Marathon at the weekend to raise money for a cancer charity in Argentina following his recent diagnosis.
The 31-year-old revealed last month that he has been battling testicular cancer for around a year.
The Argentine, who had his left testicle removed and underwent chemotherapy, decided to raise awareness of the disease by running the 26.2 mile race on Sunday.
Gutierrez raced for Fuca (Foundation for Research, Teaching and Cancer Prevention).
