A Manchester chicken restaurant launches a "plain, overpriced" burger to mock England striker Wayne Rooney.

A chicken restaurant in Manchester has launched a Rooney burger mocking England striker Wayne Rooney following the team's exit from the World Cup.

The Chicken Lodge in Middleton describes its special as "plain, nothing special and overpriced", and costs £18.

The Manchester United forward scored his first ever World Cup goal during England's 2-1 defeat to Uruguay last week.
