Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen hits out at "snob" tweets

The wife of Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has hit back on Twitter after she was labelled a "snob" for complaining about her holiday luggage getting "ransacked".

Coleen Rooney expressed her fury on social media when she and her husband received their baggage two days late after arriving in Las Vegas.

Numerous Twitter users posted messages of support for the mother of two, but some described the Liverpudlian as a "rich snob" and criticised her for "moaning".

After responding to some individual users, Coleen posted on her page: "And you can stick all the sarcastic comments about money. It's not all about money it's about people going through my personal stuff and taking stuff that I need for my holiday."

The couple flew to the United States on holiday after England failed to progress into the knockout rounds of the World Cup.
