Manchester United's Wayne Rooney 'walks out of restaurant shoe-less at 2am'

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney was spotted leaving a restaurant in the city centre without wearing his shoes on Wednesday.

The England international, who has been amid rumours that he could leave Old Trafford throughout the summer, is believed to have spent the night with his wife Coleen, Everton midfielder Darron Gibson and his wife Danielle.

According to the Daily Star, Rooney was seen arriving at Wing's Chinese Restaurant at 8pm and leaving holding his footwear in his hands at 2am.

Despite rumours over Rooney's future, reports have suggested that the 27-year-old will remain at the club for the season.
