Manchester United drop in Forbes 'most valuable' list

Manchester United drop down the list in Forbes' top 10 most valuable clubs following their dismal season, while Manchester City move up by 25%.

Manchester United have dropped by 11% in Forbes' list of top 10 most valuable clubs following their dismal season.

The North-West outfit are third in the standings with a value of £1.65 billion, with Real Madrid and Barcelona first and second respectively.

While United have slipped in the list after relinquishing the Premier League title by dropping to seventh in the table, their local rivals Manchester City are up by 25%.

Arsenal are two places above City in fifth with a value of £767m, while Chelsea reside just below them after dropping by four percent.

Liverpool round off the top 10 after moving up by six percent to a value of £407m.
