Giggs turns on Worsley Christmas lights

Manchester United player-coach Ryan Giggs spent his birthday evening turning on the Christmas lights in Worsley, Salford.

The midfielder, who turned 40 on Friday, was invited for the first time by the Worsley Village Community Association to take part in the ceremony.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Giggs stayed to talk to fans after switching on the festive decorations on Friday.

Giggs has lived in Worsley since 2004.
