Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has given his fans details of how he keeps in shape away from the pitch.
The former England international revealed on his official Facebook page what exercises he carries out in the morning, labelling it 'Rio's gym workout'.
The 34-year-old has revealed that he begins the day with 20 minutes on the exercise bike followed by 300 push-ups and a number of muscle-building routines with weights on his arms and chest.
After that, the centre-back has claimed that he moves on to 10 minutes of planks, with one minute on and one minute resting before loosening up his leg muscles.
Ferdinand's teammate Ryan Giggs also opened up about how he stays fit by previously releasing a Yoga fitness DVD.
