Falcao's Twitter 'hacked on deadline day'

New Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao appeared to have his Twitter account hacked on transfer deadline day after his page revealed that he had agreed to join Hyde.

The Colombian claimed last week that his account had been hacked into when a tweet reading that he had signed for Real Madrid appeared on the social networking website.

On Monday, a tweet was sent from Falcao's page claiming that he was poised to join the Conference North club, but had failed a medical and so was forced to join United.

According to 101greatgoals.com, the post read: "Pleased to announce that I have signed for @hydefclive and will be wearing the number 9 shirt #COYT."

Shortly afterwards, another tweet was sent saying: "Devastated I failed my medical at @hydefclive... Looks like I will have to settle for the red of Man Utd... :(."

Falcao has joined the Red Devils on a season-long loan from Monaco.
