Joe Hart, Robin van Persie attend 'The X Factor' final together

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart was spotted sitting next to Manchester United rival Robin van Persie at the final of The X Factor.

The duo were shown by the ITV cameras watching the show, which finished with solo artist James Arthur being crowned the winner, just hours after United defeated their local rivals 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium yesterday.

The pair were joined by a number of players from both teams for the climax of the reality singing show, including Rio Ferdinand, who later tweeted his congratulations to the Middlesbrough-based contestant.

Van Persie clinched the winner for the Red Devils in the heated derby, which was overshadowed by an incident involving Ferdinand, who was hit in the face by an object thrown from the crowd.
