Mike Tyson has "never heard" of Manchester City

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has admitted that he has "never heard" of Manchester City Football Club.

The retired American fighter was asked about both City and Manchester United during an interview on The Clare Balding Show on BT Sport last week.

Despite being sat alongside lifelong City supporter Ricky Hatton during the interview, Tyson admitted that he was completely unaware of the club's existence.

"I've been in Manchester for long periods of time and I've never heard of Manchester City," Tyson said on the show. "This is the first time I'm ever hearing of Manchester City."

The club in the blue half of Manchester currently sit fourth in the Premier League table.
