Liverpool's Martin Skrtel "not a fan" of Twitter

Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has revealed that he has no plans to join Twitter or Facebook.

While a number of footballers are regular users of social media, the Slovakian centre-back has insisted that he has no desire to sign up.

"I'm not a fan of social media, Facebook, Twitter," Skrtel said in a Q&A session via the club's official website. "You never know what could happen in the future but I don't think I'll join Twitter or Facebook."

Skrtel, who moved to Anfield in 2008, has been linked with an exit away from the club this summer.
