Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard tours set of 'Coronation Street'

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard spent his day off from training by taking a tour around the set of British soap Coronation Street.

The 32-year-old, who netted a penalty in Sunday's 5-0 win over Swansea City for the Reds, was spotted on the cobbles with daughters Lilly-Ella, eight, and Lexie, seven.

The England skipper, who also has a one-year-old daughter Lourdes with wife Alex, bumped into actress Sue Johnston, who plays Gloria Price in the programme, while touring the set of the ITV soap.

Gerrard is expected to feature in Liverpool's Europa League second-leg clash against Zenit St Petersburg on Thursday.
