Steven Gerrard shows off family holiday snaps after World Cup failure

Steven Gerrard posts holiday photos of his family online as he tries to get over England's World Cup woes.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard appears to be getting over England's World Cup failure by relaxing on holiday with his family.

The 34-year-old revealed that he felt "broken" after England were knocked out of the tournament in Brazil at the group phase.

While the midfielder considers his international future, he has been spending time with his three daughters Lilly-Ella, 10, Lexie, 8, and two-year-old Lourdes, and posting images of their holiday to his Instagram account.

Gerrard, who finished last season two points away from lifting the Premier League trophy, did not take his family with him to Brazil for the duration of the World Cup.
