Gerrard eyes career as nightclub DJ?

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is reportedly considering embarking on a career as a nightclub DJ when he retires from football.

The 33-year-old, who could guide the Reds to the Premier League title this season, is said to have been taking lessons on the decks for the last few years.

According to the Daily Star, a friend of the England international has revealed that Gerrard once played a set at Garlands nightclub in Liverpool under the name of 'DJ Stevie G'.

Gerrard and his teammates are currently second in the league table, four points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
