Actor Daniel Craig: 'Steven Gerrard could be the next James Bond'

British actor Daniel Craig believes that Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has all the right attributes to play film character James Bond in the future.

Craig, who is a Reds supporter, is the current 007 agent in the movie franchise and is preparing for the release of new film Skyfall this week.

"Who would I rather be, captain of Liverpool or Bond?" the Daily Star quotes Craig as saying.

"Well I don't think I could keep up any more so Bond will do but Steven Gerrard would make a good Bond. He is a good leader so you know what, seriously, who knows?"

Meanwhile, Gerrard played his part in a 1-0 win over Reading on Saturday.
