Ex-NBA star Lamar Odom 'struggling to walk and talk after waking from coma'

Former NBA star Lamar Odom is reportedly struggling with his speech and having trouble walking as he continues his recovery after collapsing at a brothel in Las Vegas last month.

The 36-year-old, who has not played in the NBA since 2013, was found unresponsive at the Love Ranch in Nevada during a three-day stay.

The former Los Angeles Lakers player, who had cocaine and sexual-enhancement supplements found in his system, is having trouble regaining his speech and has suffered memory loss, according to People magazine.

It has been claimed that a full recovery for Odom, who has been receiving support from his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, is unlikely.

The basketball player remains in Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA.
