Ex-NBA star Lamar Odom 'out of intensive care, two weeks after brothel collapse'

Lamar Odom 'out of intensive care'

Former NBA star Lamar Odom has reportedly been moved from the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, two weeks after being found unconscious at a brothel in Las Vegas.

The former Los Angeles Lakers forward, who is said to have had cocaine and sexual enhancement supplements found in his system, suffered several strokes.

There were fears that the 35-year-old would need a kidney transplant, but according to TMZ, Odom no longer needs daily dialysis and he has been moved out of ICU after making a dramatic improvement.

It is believed that the sportsman, who has had his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian at his hospital bedside, will undergo intense physical therapy after his motor skills were damaged from the strokes.
