Ex-NBA star Lamar Odom 'may need kidney transplant'

Former NBA star Lamar Odom may reportedly need a kidney transplant after he suffered several strokes and organ failure while at a brothel in Las Vegas.

The ex-Los Angeles Lakers forward was found unconscious at the Love Ranch last weekend.

Police were reportedly told that the 35-year-old, whose marriage to reality TV star Khloe Kardashian recently came to an end, had taken cocaine and sexual-enhancement supplements in the days before he was found unresponsive.

According to USA Today, Odom is undergoing kidney dialysis treatment in Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, but there is a chance that the sportsman will need a kidney replacement.

The two-time NBA champion is said to have spent three days at the brothel.
