Video: Danny Welbeck beats Raheem Sterling in 'FIFA' tournament at England base

Danny Welbeck's fitness remains in doubt ahead of England's World Cup opening match against Italy on Saturday, but the Manchester United forward has spent some time relaxing with his teammates in Brazil.

The 23-year-old took on his Liverpool rival Raheem Sterling in a FIFA tournament, which Daniel Sturridge captured on film and posted on Instagram.

Welbeck, who Wayne Rooney has claimed will be ready for Saturday's match, managed to seal an extra-time winner to beat Sterling 3-2.

England will fly to Manaus today to prepare for their first match.
