The former coach of Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has revealed that the Poland international needed fattening up when he was younger.
The 24-year-old is currently the star player for the Bundesliga outfit, but Krzysztof Sikorski from the striker's former Polish junior side UKS Varsovia has revealed that he was worried about Lewandowski's physique.
"I kept urging him to put some weight on and eat more bacon sandwiches," the Daily Mail quotes Sikorski as saying. "I was always on at him about that."
Lewandowski is expected to line up for Dortmund in tomorrow night's Champions League final against German rivals Bayern Munich.
