Lionel Messi double dates with Luis Suarez following Barcelona win

Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez went on a double date with their partners following their 6-1 thumping win over Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Both players were on form for the Catalan giants as they netted two goals each to secure qualification to the last 16 of the competition.

After the game, Messi, who had only returned from injury a few days before the match, took his partner Antonella Roccuzzo to meet up with Suarez and his wife Sofia.

Alongside an Instagram picture of the couples, Messi wrote: "Enjoying the night with friends."

Messi's girlfriend, who is the mother of the footballer's one-year-old son Thiago, gave birth to the couple's second son Mateo in September.
