Agbonlahor receives death threats
Gabriel Agbonlahor receives death threats from angry One Direction fans after the Aston Villa forward injured Louis Tomlinson during a charity match.

Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor has been the subject of online death threats from One Direction fans for his tackle on boyband member Louis Tomlinson.

The 26-year-old clattered into the singer during Stiliyan Petrov's charity match at Parkhead on Sunday.

The former X Factor contestant hobbled off the field and vomited on the touchline, prompting anger from his band's legion of fans.

One Twitter user @gabby_10 wrote: "This guy hurt Louis knee. I shall hurt your face. I better hear that you apologized or I will find you, and I will kill you."

Agbonlahor revealed after the match, which was organised to raise money for leukaemia treatment, that he will apologise to the singer.
