Arsenal 'suspend coaches after bullying allegations'

Arsenal 'coaches accused of bullying'

Arsenal have allegedly suspended two of their coaches after they were accused of bullying.

According to the Islington Gazette, claims that Gunners Under-23 coach Steve Gatting and his assistant Carl Laraman subjected members of the reserve squad to bullying are under investigation.

Gatting and Laraman are said to have been absent from the dugout during Arsenal's Premier League International Cup final against Porto this week, with Under-18s coach Kwame Ampadu taking their place.

The Gunners U23 side, who won this season's Premier League 2, were defeated 1-0 by their Porto counterparts.

Head coach Arsene Wenger is said to have been unaware about the bullying claims.
