Stars sad to see Balotelli leave

A host of celebrities have expressed their sadness following the news that Mario Balotelli has left Manchester City.

The controversial forward's move to AC Milan sparked an outpouring of reaction on social network site Twitter from musicians to comedians.

The Wanted singer Max George tweeted: "Can't help but feel sad. Good luck Mario and thanks for the memories. Why always you?"

Comedian Jack Whitehall wrote: "No more Mario Balotelli. He will be missed by fans, players, lapdancing clubs, journalists, fireworks retailers, the list goes on and on!"

Reports have claimed that City collected £17m for the transfer of the Italy international.
