Song Dae-Nam has won the gold medal in the judo men's -90kg final with a golden score against Cuban Asley Gonzalez.
The Cuban pro was given a warning in the early stages of the bout but both competitors were edgy in the first exchanges, neither enforcing a damaging move.
Song was also given a penalty after Gonzalez began to pile on the pressure in a bid to claim the first point in the five minutes.
Gonzalez continued to get the first attacks in but Song had enough to fend off his opponent and take contest into extra time for a golden score.
Song wrapped up the win 10 seconds into the golden score by catching his Cuban opponent from behind to grab the first point.
