Team England's Megan Fletcher takes judo gold

Megan Fletcher has won gold for England in the women's -70kg judo event in Glasgow.

The 24-year-old, who defeated Sally Conway to book a final berth, overcame Moira de Villiers of New Zealand by Ippon to take the accolade.

Meanwhile, Alix Renaud-Roy of Canada made light work of Catherine Arscott to secure bronze following a well-executed hold, and Scotland's Conway secured the second bronze medal with victory over Sunibala Huidrom in the B contest.

De Villiers has won six Oceania Championships in her career.
