England gymnast Claudia Fragapane wins vault gold

England gymnast Claudia Fragapane has won gold in the women's vault final at the Commonwealth Games this afternoon.

The 16-year-old averaged a score of 14.633 with her two vaults to narrowly beat Canada's Elisabeth Black.

Indian gymnast Dipa Karmakar landed a seven-difficulty vault with her second vault, which was enough for her to secure the bronze medal.

The gold is Fragapane's third of the Games following her success in the all-round individual and team events earlier this week.
