England's Claudia Fragapane: 'I just wanted to enjoy vault final'

England gymnast Claudia Fragapane tells Sports Mole that she felt slightly under pressure before securing gold in the vault final.

Team England gymnast Claudia Fragapane has admitted that she felt pressure to perform in today's vault final at the Commonwealth Games, but most of all just wanted to "have fun".

The 16-year-old has dominated the women's gymnastics in Glasgow after winning team gold and all-around individual gold this week.

This afternoon, Fragapane added to her Commonwealth success by winning gold in the women's vault final at the SSE Hydro.

The teen clinched the medal following two vaults with an average score of 14.633 after being the final gymnast to perform.

"Yeah, I felt a little bit of pressure, but I just wanted to enjoy the vault and have fun," Fragapane told Sports Mole.

Fragapane added that she is aiming to medal in both the beam and floor finals tomorrow.
