At the turn: Kaymer 1 up over Stricker

It remains all square at the turn between Martin Kaymer and Steve Stricker in their singles match at the Ryder Cup in Medinah.

The American holed a birdie putt after a great approach shot into the par-three second green to take an early lead.

However, both men birdied the fifth before Kaymer scored par at the sixth to draw level.

Stricker missed a tricky putt at the ninth that allowed Kaymer to take the lead for the first time as they headed to the back nine.
