The 2025 Ryder Cup is mere days away with Keegan Bradley and Luke Donald having selected their United States and European teams and the players having gathered in New York.
With Europe having dominated in Rome two years ago, USA skipper Bradley is tasked with trying to reclaim the trophy and extend a streak where the home team has won the event to six.
Both teams have been busy after the captains' picks, with 10 of Team USA teeing it up at the Procore Championship, at which Scottie Scheffler pipped teammate Ben Griffin to the title.
Meanwhile, only Sepp Straka from Team Europe was absent from the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in mid-September, one week after Rory McIlroy took home his second Irish Open.
Here, Sports Mole takes a look at when the Ryder Cup starts and where it is taking place, the course in New York viewed as one of the toughest in the world.
When does the 2025 Ryder Cup take place?
The 2025 Ryder Cup will take place across three days between September 26 and September 28.
Foursomes and fourballs - consisting of a total of 16 matches - will be played across the opening two days, before the competition concludes with the 12 singles on the Sunday.
Where is the 2025 Ryder Cup being held?
This year's Ryder Cup will be taking place at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York.
The course is a Par-70 and consists of 7,459 yards. The venue has five courses, Bethpage Black identified as the most difficult.
Brooks Koepka holds the course record of 63, which was shot in 2019.
The Ryder Cup visits New York for just a second-ever time in 2025, after Europe prevailed in a 14.5 - 13.5 victory at Oak Hill Country Club in the only previous visit in 1995.
Has Bethpage Black held any majors?
Since the turn of the millennium, Bethpage Black has staged three majors: The 2002 US Open, 2009 US Open Open and 2019 US PGA Championship.
An American has prevailed on each occasion with Tiger Woods, Lucas Glover and Koepka the victors.
Koepka's winning score at the most recent of the three aforementioned events was eight-under, two clear of second-placed Dustin Johnson, but he failed to earn one of Bradley's six captain's picks, ending a run of four straight appearances for the five-time major winner.
Has Bethpage Black held any PGA Tour events?
This course has also been used for two Fedex Cup playoff events in 2012 and 2016 called The Barclays.
Nick Watney and Patrick Reed were the winners, totalling 10-under and nine-under respectively.
As a result, it means that an American has won at Bethpage Black every time that it has staged a major or PGA Tour event.
