Sebastian Vettel fastest in final Spanish GP practice

World champion Sebastian Vettel has set the pace in the final practice for the Spanish Grand Prix ahead of this afternoon's qualifying in Barcelona.

The German set the morning pace with a time of 1m23.168, 0.168s ahead of an impressive Williams performance by Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado.

There was another surprise in third position, where Sauber's Kamui Kobayashi upset the odds with a rapid lap of the Circuit de Catalunya.

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton ended the session in an unrepresentative 16th, with the Englishman encountering heavy traffic on his flying lap.
